Wednesday 28th September 2022 was our annual Discovery Day to bring together Apprentices, Trainees, and people in the horticultural sector. This was one of our largest events to date and we were privileged to be able to hold it at the iconic RHS Garden, Wisley.
The theme was People, Places and Plants with the exploration of the benefits of green space to people’s health and wellbeing. We were so pleased to see everyone have a great day with inspirational speakers, engaging activities, art, poetry, and science!
Opened in June 2021, RHS Hilltop was the venue for this spectacular event and it was captured on film by a group of young filmmakers under the stewardship of Andrew Cleminson.
RHS Wisley's Hilltop is the UK’s first dedicated horticultural scientific centre of excellence protecting the future of plants, people, and the planet. You can watch the film below and discover what our Discovery Day is all about and how it helps budding Horticultural Apprentices and Trainees with their career development.
If you would like to contribute either your time or skills to developing our future horticulturists and Landscape Gardeners, then please join us. You can even just help by donating because all monies will go towards keeping the Guild running for all.
Below are a few pictures from the day.
